PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which the pull-out operation of a developing unit is simplified.SOLUTION: A color composite machine 1 includes a front cover 24 opening and closing an opening 2A, a belt unit 9, a drum unit 6 including a plurality of photoreceptive drums 61, and a developing unit 7 including a plurality of developing rollers 71A and moved from the opening 2A in a direction where the developing rollers 71A are arranged. The drum unit 6 is configured to move between a third position where the photoreceptive drums 61 are close to the developing rollers 71A and a fourth position located above the third position and configured so as to move from the third position to the fourth position, when the front cover 24 is moved from a closing position to an opening position and so as to move from the fourth position to the third position, when the front cover 24 is moved from the opening position to the closing position. |
