<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a display device by which an organic thin film layer can be formed into uniform film thickness.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a light-emitting device is provided, where the light-emitting device includes a substrate, partition walls for defining segments preliminarily set on the substrate, and a plurality of organic EL elements respectively disposed in the segments defined by the partition walls. The method includes: a step of forming an organic thin film layer, in which a coating liquid comprising a thin film material to be the organic thin film layer and at least one solvent is supplied to the segments defined by the partition walls; and a first drying step and a second drying step, in which the coating liquid is dried at least twice to form the organic thin film layer. In the first drying step, the coating liquid is dried into such a degree that an amount of the liquid component in the coating liquid after the first drying process is not decreased to be lower than 50 by weight; and in the second drying step, a residual fraction of the liquid component in the coating liquid is dried under a more reduced pressure than in the first drying step.</p> |
