<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a composition for lithium ion secondary battery porous films which enables the manufacturing of a porous film capable of functioning as a separator having a high strength, and never causing an undesired phenomenon, such as gas generation in a lithium ion secondary battery and therefore, making possible to enhance the battery performances including low-temperature output and high-temperature cycle characteristics; such a porous film; and a secondary battery.SOLUTION: A composition for lithium ion secondary battery porous films comprises: non-conductive particles; a water-soluble polymer including an acid group; and a crosslinker. The water-soluble polymer including an acid group includes over 20 wt.% of a monomer unit including a hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group. The crosslinker has a functional group which is reactive to the hydroxyl or carboxyl groups. A porous film and a secondary battery are each arranged by use of the composition.</p> |
