<p>An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method and apparatus for providing information on vehicle monitoring. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the monitoring device comprises: a storing unit storing group information on a vehicle; a communication unit receiving position information on the vehicle in which a vehicle terminal is mounted from the vehicle terminal; and a control unit determining whether two vehicles that are not included in the same group based on the received position information are positioned within a predetermined distance. If the two vehicles are positioned within a predetermined distance during a period in which a predetermined time exceeds, the control unit can renew the group information on at least one vehicle of two vehicles so that the two vehicles are included in the same group. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method and apparatus for providing information on vehicle monitoring can allow an operator and a driver to conveniently confirm position and condition information on entire equipment in a condition in which various equipment work together, thereby increasing work efficiency, convenience, and safety.</p> |
