<p>Provided are an apparatus and method for easily mounting a lower show and an upper shoe on a piston of a swash plate type compressor, thereby improving work efficiency. The apparatus includes a piston feeder 30 supporting and feeding at least one piston 10; a guide rail 20 which is inserted in a swash plate insertion space 15 of the piston, includes a first receiving space 21 and a second receiving space 22, and has the same thickness as a peripheral portion of a swash plate 2; a first insertion unit 110 or 310 which includes at least one lower shoe drop-hole 130 or 330 and at least one first mounting unit that mounts a lower shoe 11 on a lower shoe mount portion 13 through the lower shoe drop-hole, and inserts the lower shoe drop-hole 130 or 330 into the first receiving space 21; and a second insertion unit 210 or 410 which includes at least one upper shoe receiving portion 230 or 430 and at least one second mounting unit that mounts an upper shoe 12 received in the upper shoe receiving portion on an upper shoe mount portion 14, and inserts the upper shoe receiving portion 230 or 430 into the second receiving space.</p> |
