When a dash panel is displaced backward, instead of relatively rotating an intermediate lever (26) in an output direction, an abutting portion (54) of a second pedal bracket (36) and an operation pedal (18) are engaged, whereby a second connecting pin (42) of a connecting link (28) is detached from a cutout (46) of the intermediate lever (26) to thereby release connection of the intermediate lever (26) and the operation pedal (18), while the operation pedal (18) is relatively rotated in a depressing direction. Thus, regardless of whether the intermediate lever (26) can be rotated in the output direction when, for example, an operating rod (32) cannot be depressed, backdown of a step portion of the operation pedal (18) can be properly suppressed, whereby a backdown preventing effect for the pedal can be stably obtained. |
