An information processing device includes a body unit mounting a detection sensor, and an electronic device, such as a display, that can be detachably attached to the body unit via a physical structure. For example, the information processing device, when returning the body unit from sleep state using the detection sensor, determines whether the electronic device is connected to the body unit via the physical structure. If it is determined that the device is connected, the information processing device validates an output from the detection sensor. If it is determined that the device is not connected, the information processing device invalidates the output from the detection sensor. |
