MBMS MEASUREMENT CONTROL METHOD AND USER TERMINAL

An MBMS measurement control method pertaining to to a first feature controls MBMS measurement pertaining to MBMS data delivered by multicast or broadcast from a network of a mobile communication system. The MBMS measurement control method has: a step in which the network transmits MBMS measurement settings information pertaining to settings of the MBMS measurement; a step in which an MBMS measurement compatible terminal supporting the MBMS measurement receives the MBMS measurement settings information from the network; and a step in which the MBMS measurement compatible terminal starts the MBMS measurement conforming to the MBMS measurement settings information some time after the MBMS measurement compatible terminal started receiving the MBMS data or had an interest in receiving the MBMS data.
