PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional input operation device capable of multidirectional operation of an operation member and automatically moving the operation member at any timing, and a vehicle shifter.SOLUTION: A multidirectional input operation device 101 comprises: an operation member 21; a support medium 22; position detection means; a plurality of movable side magnetic bodied MM and a plurality of opposite side magnetic bodies TM which are opposite to each other; a motor M7 automatically moving the operation member 21; a drive control part; and a coupling mechanism J8 transferring the driving force of the motor M7. When the operation member 21 is operated to move between a first position P1 and a second position P2, the drive control part separates, when operated by an operator, the coupling mechanism J8 to the outside of a movable range of the operation member 21, and brings, when automatically operated to move, the coupling mechanism J8 into contact with the operation member 21 and transfers the driving force to separate the movable side magnetic body MM from the opposite side magnetic body TM. The multidirectional input operation device 101 is favourably applied for a vehicle shifter. |
