<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of the adhesion of noble metal to a structural member of a nuclear power plant, capable of realizing efficient adhesion of noble metal to the surface of the structural member of the nuclear power plant during a chemical decontamination process.SOLUTION: While a nuclear power plant stops operating, a noble metal injection device is connected to a piping system of the nuclear power plant (S1). The interior of this piping system is subjected to chemical decontamination (S2) and part of an oxalic acid contained in a reduction decontamination solution is decomposed (S3b). Complex ion former (ammonia) and platinum ions are injected into the reduction contamination solution in which part of the oxalic acid is decomposed (S4, S5), and the reduction decontamination solution that contains ammonia and platinum ions but that does not contain hydrazine (reducer) is supplied to the piping system (S6). After passage of time within a range of five minutes to one hour since the injection of platinum ions, hydrazine is injected into the reduction decontamination solution (S7). The reduction decontamination solution containing ammonia, platinum ions, and hydrazine is supplied to the piping system so as to allow platinum to adhere to the inner surface of the piping system.</p> |
