The present invention concerns the use of polydatin in the treatment of HIV-positive patients immunologically not responding during the highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART); the administration of polydatin to these patients experimentally proved to be surprisingly effective in increasing the concentration of CD4 cells in the patients' blood even to above 500 cells/microL. |
