Provided is an outer wall joint structure that can prevent cracking on the outer wall face material during a fire and prevent heat influx from a fire through an expanded joint. An outer wall panel (1) has a structure in which two sheets of outer wall face material (12) are fixed to the top and bottom on one face of a panel frame (11). An edge of the outer wall face material (12) is positioned on top of a crosspiece (11a) of each panel frame (11), and a joint (13) is formed between the edges. A convex bent portion (21) of a hat-shaped steel plate (2) provided on the back face of the outer wall face material (12) is inserted into the joint (13), and flat portions (22) of the hat-shaped steel plate (2) are located on the above and below the convex bent portion (21). The hat-shaped steel plate (2) is fixed to a flange of the crosspiece (11a) by way of a first screw (3) that passes through the distal portion of the convex bent portion (21). The two sheets of outer wall face material (12) are fixed to the flat portion (22) by way of a second screw (4).
