An autoinjector for dispensing a fluid product, in particular a medicament, comprises: a) a housing (2) and a product container (13), in particular a syringe, which is arranged in the housing and has a displaceable piston, wherein the piston can be displaced in a distal direction, by means of an advancement member, in order to dispense the product contained in the product container, b) a covering cap (4), which is arranged at the distal end of the housing and can be removed from the housing, c) an in particular sleeve-form triggering member (3), which, in its starting position, projects beyond the distal end of the housing, d) wherein the triggering member, in order to trigger the dispensing operation, can be moved in a proximal direction relative to the housing from the starting position into a triggering position when the covering cap has been removed from the housing, e) wherein the triggering member is blocked against movement into the triggering position when the covering cap is arranged on the housing. |
