A display apparatus (1 ) comprising: a display device (2) for securely receiving an article to be displayed; a support (3) to which the display device (2) is securely mounted but movable relative to the support (3) and thereby relative to a reference position of the display device (2); and a return device (4) effective between the display device (2) and the support (3) to return the display device (2) to its reference position.
