PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration reduction stopper which is not easily broken upon a large earthquake.SOLUTION: A vibration reduction stopper 30 is applied for a vibration isolating frame 10 equipped with a lower frame 14, an upper frame 12, and a vibration control member 16. The vibration stopper 30 includes: a through-hole 34 provided on an upper corner hardware 22 on the upper frame 12; a stopper bolt 32 inserted in the through-hole 34, and fixed to a corner hardware 28 of the lower frame 14 at a tip end; a vibration reduction elastic member 38 inserted in the stopper bolt 32; a clearance X formed between the vibration reduction elastic member 38 and the through-hole 34; a first attenuation washer 50 and a second attenuation washer 56 disposed on upper and lower both end sides of the vibration reduction elastic member 38; a clearance Y formed between the first attenuation washer 50 and the upper corner hardware 22; and a clearance Z formed between the second attenuation washer 56 and the upper corner hardware 22. The vibration reduction elastic member 38 is equipped with a double layer structure composed of an outside layer 42 made from a sliding material and an inside layer 40 made from an attenuating material. |
