A vehicle and a vehicle cruise control method. The vehicle comprises an engine unit (1), a speed changer unit (2a), a first electric motor generator (41), an output portion (5), a power switching apparatus, a second electric motor generator (42), and a power battery. The cruise control method comprises the following steps: when a signal indicating that a vehicle enters cruise control is detected, determining whether the vehicle meets a preset cruise control condition; if the vehicle meets the preset cruise control condition, controlling, according to a current working mode of the vehicle, the vehicle to enter a corresponding cruise mode; and when the current working mode of the vehicle is an EV mode, controlling the vehicle to enter into an EV cruise mode, and when the current working mode of the vehicle is an HEV mode, controlling the vehicle to enter into an HEV cruise mode. The cruise control method combines selection of driving modes with an automatic cruise function of obtaining constant-speed driving, thereby meeting different driving demands of a driver. |
