The present invention discloses a device for removing carbon dioxide from the air supplied to the firing furnace firing active materials for a battery. The device includes: a compressor compressing the air; first and second carbon dioxide removing units filled with adsorbents adsorbing the carbon dioxide included in the compressed air from the compressor; a heating means which is provided between the first and second carbon dioxide removing units to partially heat the air without carbon dioxide supplied to the usage target when the removal efficiency of the carbon dioxide removing units decreases to activate and restore the functionality of the adsorbents by supplying the heated air to one of the carbon dioxide removing units; pipe paths which are connected to the usage target from the first and second carbon dioxide removing units to supply the air without carbon dioxide form the carbon dioxide removing units to the usage target; and valves selectively supplying the compressed air from the compressor to the first and second carbon dioxide removing units.
