A display controller includes an image composer, a scaling unit and an image enhancer. The image composer forms a frame image by combining a plurality of windows. The scaling unit determines whether to scale the frame image according to an image quality signal and a device information signal, and accordingly, provides a high-resolution frame image or the frame image. The image enhancer corrects the high-resolution frame image or the frame image, thereby providing a high-resolution correction image or a correction image. It is possible to reduce a bandwidth of a system at a front end of the scaling unit based on the scaling unit by placing the scaling unit at a rear end of the image composer. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the bandwidth of the entire system and power consumption by using the display controller of the present invention. In addition, it is possible to efficiently operate the entire system.
