An apparatus and a method for generating hologram are disclosed. The apparatus for generating hologram may include: an interface unit for receiving image data of each position of an object from a plurality of cameras; and a processor for determining an intermediate point located between any pair of cameras adjacent to each other, for generating image interpolation data corresponding to the intermediate point, and for synthesizing the image data of each position and the image interpolation data, and thereby generating hologram data for the object.
