PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device capable of easily drawing out a suction filter from an opening of a fuel tank without damaging and dropping the suction filter. ! SOLUTION: In driving a fuel pump 3, a suction filter 4 has an ordinary posture extended along a bottom surface of a fuel tank 2. In drawing out the fuel pump 3 and the suction filter 4 from an opening portion 11 formed on an upper wall 10 of the fuel tank 2, the suction filter 4 is brought into contact with the upper wall 10 of the fuel tank 2, then a fuel supply device 1 is further pulled up, and the suction filter 4 is displaced to a non-ordinary posture extended in the vertical direction (direction intersecting the extending direction of suction filter 4 in ordinary posture), from the ordinary posture when a load more than a downward prescribed load is added to the suction filter 4 from the upper wall 10.
