A display substrate, a manufacturing method therefor, and a display apparatus. The display substrate comprises a base substrate and multiple pixel groups disposed on the base substrate. Each of the pixel groups comprises four first sub-pixels (21), four second sub-pixels (22), four third sub-pixels (23), and four fourth sub-pixels (24). Sub-pixels in each of the pixel groups are arrayed in a 4X4 matrix. In a pixel group, the first sub-pixels (21), the second sub-pixels (22), the third sub-pixels (23) and the fourth sub-pixels (24) in a pixel row are disposed in sequence, the second sub-pixels (22), the third sub-pixels (23), the fourth sub-pixels (24) and the first sub-pixels (21) in a pixel row are disposed in sequence, the fourth sub-pixels (24), the first sub-pixels (21), the second sub-pixels (22) and the third sub-pixels (23) in a pixel row are disposed in sequence, and the third sub-pixels (23), the fourth sub-pixels (24), the first sub-pixels (21) and the second sub-pixels (22) in a pixel row are disposed in sequence.
