The present invention relates to a system for preventing a cut object of a marine construction from being discharged, capable of preventing a cut object containing oil or the like from being discharged into the sea by closing a cutting suit valve connected to a cutting suit when oil-based mud (OBM) is used in drilling, and a method for controlling discharge of a cut object thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system for preventing a cut object of a marine construction from being discharged comprises: an OBM tank to store oil-based mud; an OBM pump to supply the oil-based mud of the OBM tank to a well; and an OBM valve installed in a pipe between the OBM tank and the OBM pump. Provided is the system for preventing a cut object of a marine construction from being discharged, comprising a drilling control system for controlling a cutting suit valve connected to a cutting suit not to discharge a cut object into the sea if oil-based mud of the OBM tank satisfies a mud use condition for determining whether the mud is used in the well when drilling.
