The present invention relates to an apparatus for cooling a plated steel sheet comprising: an injection means to inject a cooling fluid while facing a steel plate moving; an injection width varying means for varying the injection width of the cooling fluid to correspond to the width of the steel plate, and installed outside the injection means not to be interfered with an injection flow path of the cooling fluid; and an injection distance controlling means provided for the injection means to adjust the distance between the steel plate and the injection means. According to the present invention, the injection width varying means is capable of reducing steel plate vibrations and improving a cooling performance by varying the injection width of the cooling fluid to correspond to the width of the steel plate. Furthermore, as the injection width varying means is installed not to be interfered with a flow path of a cooling fluid inside the injection means, a flow collision of the cooling fluid is prevented inside the injection means, so injection pressure reduction of the cooling fluid is prevented by minimizing fluid flowing resistance, and thereby a cooling performance can be improved. Moreover, the injection distance controlling means adjusts the distance between the steel plate and the injection means by considering a defect generation distance of a plating layer depending on a solidification state of the coating layer, and thereby a cooling performance can be improved without a defect of the plating layer. |
