<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED unit capable of suppressing position shifting of a heat radiation sheet and checking easily presence or non-presence of the position shifting with a comparatively simple structure, and a lighting fixture using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The LED unit 10 has a plate-shape base 1 having a projection portion 1f on one front surface side, a heat radiation sheet 9 installed at top end face 1f of the projection portion 1f, and a light-emitting device 3 which is arranged on the opposite side to the projection portion 1f of the heat radiation sheet 9 and uses LED chips.
