<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor having a gear housing capable of further suppressing infiltration of liquid into the interior through a penetration hole where a fastening member penetrates. <P>SOLUTION: A first edge part 11g of a first housing 11 and a second edge part 12a of a second housing 12 are overlapped and fastened by a fastening screw 19 inserted into a penetration hole 12h of the second edge part 12a and a fastening hole 11k of the first edge part 11g. The penetration hole 12h penetrates toward the fastening hole 11k via a breathing hole 12m in the second edge part 12a. The breathing hole 12m communicates between the interior and the exterior of a gear housing 10 via a breathing recessed part 12e and an opening 12n opening to its inner surface.
