摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation failure detection method of a clutch wear automatic adjusting mechanism, capable of detecting that transmission torque transmitted to a transmission from a prime motor of a vehicle via a clutch is brought into a torque insufficient state that the torque does not satisfy prescribed necessary transmission torque. <P>SOLUTION: The operation failure detection method of the clutch wear automatic adjusting mechanism comprises: a setting step which sets an initial relation line H0 between the clutch transmittable torque Ta and a clutch stroke L before each friction member of the clutch is worn; a detection step which detects the stroke L when the clutch transmittable torque Ta is in a prescribed value; and a determination step which defines a post-wear relation line Hx by parallel-moving the initial relation line H0 so as to pass the transmittable torque Ta in the prescribed value in the detection step and the detected stroke L, and determines that the wear automatic adjusting mechanism is in an operation failure when it is estimated that the maximum transmittable torque Tzx in the maximum stroke Lz of the clutch is smaller than the prescribed necessary transmission torque Tr by using the post-wear relation line Hx. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
