The present invention relates to an apparatus of degassing a battery cell and a method of degassing a battery cell using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus of degassing a battery cell which has a control unit which is installed to be connected to the inside of the battery cell and controls a vacuum pressure on an injection line for applying a vacuum pressure to the inside of a battery cell, thereby effectively controlling the amount of electrolyte remaining in the cell, and a method of degassing a battery cell using the same. The present invention includes an injection lien (100) which has a movement space connected to the inside of a battery cell (10); a vacuum pump (200) which is connected to the injection line (100) and applies a vacuum pressure to the inside of the battery cell (10); and a control unit (300) which is installed on the injection line (100) and controls the vacuum pressure.
