To invoke, via a user agent, a function that an application residing in an information processing terminal provides, a proxy application converts definition information of the application into Web Intents format and registers the converted information with the user agent. In response to a Web Intents request, the user agent provides, to a user, a screen used to invoke a service residing on a network and the function that the application residing in the information processing terminal provides. In response to a selection instruction issued by the user to the screen, the user agent invokes the function of the application via the proxy application. |
