<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust valve which prevents a water leak even if water suddenly flows from an inflow port into a valve chamber. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust valve is configured as follows: the valve chamber 3 is formed with the inflow port 4 opened at its lower portion and an outflow port 5 opened at its upper portion; a valve seat 6 is formed between the valve chamber 3 and the outflow port 5; a float support 10 is formed in a bottomed substantially-cylindrical shape in the valve chamber 3 with a flow passage between an inner wall of a valve chamber 3 and itself and has a through-hole 8 on a bottom wall to bring its inside into fluid communication with its outside; a spherical float 12 is arranged in the float support 10 in a free state; and a sidewall 10a is fixed in the valve chamber 3 by separately forming the sidewall 10a and a bottom wall 10b in the float support 10; and the bottom wall 10b is urged to the inflow port 4 side for arrangement by a coil spring 13; and an opening/closing member 17 is provided which reduces an opening area of the through-hole 8 when the bottom wall 10b of the float support 10 displaces to the inflow port 4 side and furthermore enlarges the opening area of the through-hole 8 when the bottom wall 10b of the float support 10 displaces to the outflow port 5 side resisting the coil spring 13 by a force of water suddenly flowing from the inflow port 4 into the valve chamber 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
