<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting an identifier for an air-conditioner-control-related apparatus for a rolling stock, which method enables setting an identifier at high precision and low cost without a limitation to the number of connections. <P>SOLUTION: The method for setting identifiers for a plurality of types of air-conditioner-control-related apparatuses for a rolling stock is provided, the air-conditioner-control-related apparatuses being incorporated in the rolling stock and connected to a railroad construction communication network composed of a multilayer communication system. For each air-conditioner-control-related apparatus, ranking data including data peculiar to the apparatus is set. The air-conditioner-control-related apparatus executes a mediation mode in which mediation performed between the air-conditioner-control-related apparatus and another air-conditioner-control-related apparatus of the same type connected to the same communication system on the basis of the ranking data, to automatically assign an identifier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
