Image-display apparatus (1000) including a light source (100), a lens-array (8) and an image-forming device (MEMs 6) to form an image on the lens-array (8). Light is transmitted from the lens-array (8) then reflected (9, 10) for an observer (11) to visualize a virtual image (12). At least two of the lenses of the lens-array (8) have curvatures different from each other.
