<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately predict a driver's steering wheel avoiding intention under limited situations by detecting a driver's preparing operation prior to his or her steering wheel avoiding operation. <P>SOLUTION: The driving operation predicting device is configured to: detect an outside environmental event and a driving operational event (S2); calculate, when a rule reacts on a time relation between the outside environmental event and the driving operational event, a steering wheel avoiding intention estimation value H by adding or subtracting weights in accordance with the conclusion of the rule (S3); determine the necessity of control intervention (S4); refer to, when there exists a necessity of control intervention, the value of the steering wheel avoiding intention estimation value H (S5); determine, when H>0 as a result, that a driver's steering wheel operation avoiding intention is high, and make the system refrain from control intervention by invalidating control intervention or delaying the control intervention (S6); and determine, when H≤0, that the driver's steering wheel operation avoiding intention is low, and make the system execute brake intervention (S7). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
