The present invention relates to a method for determining between a partial discharge signal and an imported noise signal in a mold transformer in a switchboard, which comprises the steps of: attaching a first sensor to a base grounding of the mold transformer and attaching a second sensor to a final grounding line of an enclosure of the switchboard; and measuring a signal by the first sensor and the second sensor, comparing the strength of the signals or the time of arrival of the signals measured by the sensors, and determining between a partial discharge signal generated in the mold transformer and a noise signal introduced from the outside.
