<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female connection terminal of an electric vehicle charging connector for reducing a contact portion of a female connection terminal and a male connection terminal, reducing friction and rubbing by connection of the female connection terminal and the male connection terminal, remarkably reducing peeling of silver plating in both the terminals and improving stability in electric connection of both the connection terminals when the male connection terminal is inserted into/extracted from the female connection terminal incorporated in the charging connector used in an electric vehicle and a hybrid vehicle and to provide a manufacturing method of the female connection terminal. <P>SOLUTION: In the female connection terminal (1) incorporated into the electric vehicle charging connector (21), a plurality of slits (5) are formed on a circumferential wall of a shaft insertion cylinder section (2) in a longitudinal direction, the cylinder section (2) is segmented into a plurality of sections, and non-contact concave wall sections (7) which are not brought into contact with an outer face of a shaft (12) of the male connection terminal (11) are formed in nearby parts of the slits (5) on both ends in a circumferential direction of cross section arc-like inner wall sections (6) of respective segmented shaft contact segmented wall sections (4a). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
