The machine has a cutting blade (4) and a counter blade (8) including parallel cutting surfaces at sides facing towards each other. Wedge surfaces are attached at the cutting surfaces beyond cutting edges. The surfaces strike on each other in pointed wedge angles. A lever (5), a pivotal point (6), and a pneumatic cylinder (7) are designed such that the cutting blade is moved past at the counter blade parallel to a cutting plane for moving a cutting point of the edges from an initial cutting point before a side of a gathered package (9) to an end cutting point beyond the package. |
