The present invention relates to an access control method for a machine type communications (MTC) apparatus having dual priority applications in a mobile communications network. The method includes: a step of forming display information representing that low access priorities can be ignored; a step of performing movement management or a session management procedure with the low access priorities; a step of operating a back-off timer; and a step of performing the movement management or the session management procedure without the low access priorities.
