The present invention relates to an ultrasound diagnosis device and a method for operating the same. The method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: displaying an ultrasonic image of an object; receiving an ultrasonic signal for a moving subject of interest which is included in the object; setting a first reference region in the ultrasonic image; obtaining a first moving path information of the subject of interest which passes through the first reference region based on the received ultrasonic signal; and displaying the first moving path on the ultrasonic image based on the first moving path information.
