PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box for housing an electric apparatus which prevents agitation of air in the housing while securing an adequate attachment space of the electric apparatus and also prevents rainwater and foreign objects from intruding thereinto when installed in an outdoor environment.SOLUTION: An exhaust air duct 2 protruding from a top surface of a housing body 1 housing an electric apparatus 9 therein is attached to a box for housing an electric apparatus. The exhaust duct 2 is composed of: a cylindrical duct part 5 having one end which connects to an opening 4 formed in the housing body 1; folding parts 6, each of which is formed by folding the other end of the cylindrical duct part; and exhaust ports 7, each of which is formed at an end part of the folding part 6. The cylindrical duct part 5 includes an exhaust fan 3 which exhausts air in the housing. Each exhaust port 7 is formed so as to open in a direction of the cylindrical duct part 5 or the direction that the exhaust duct 2 moves away from the box for housing the electric apparatus. |
