<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization, without degrading light quality, in an optical assembly emitting a multicolor laser beam.SOLUTION: A red LD chip 14, a green LD chip 15, and a blue LD chip 16 are mounted on an optical assembly 1. The respective LD chips are mounted on the main surface 20 of a block 11 through sub-mounts 17, 18, and 19 corresponding to the LD chips respectively. An optical system 13 for a plurality of laser beams emitted from the plurality of LD chips is mounted on the block 11. The optical system 13 condenses the plurality of laser beams on a focus P1 being outside the optical assembly 1 through a condenser lens 4.</p> |
