The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for executing scripts. According to the method of the present invention, when a processor is used to execute one or more scripts driven via a browser, the one or more scripts are stored in a main memory. Cache information for executing the one or more script is stored in a cache memory. When the browser is terminated, the cache information is stored in an external memory. When the browser is executed again, the cache information in the external memory is read to be stored in the cache memory.
