<p>A child seat includes a seat portion and an anchoring harness. The seat portion has a lower surface facing downward, an upper surface facing upward for providing sitting support, a rear edge defining a rear border of the lower and upper surfaces, and a slot formed through the seat portion and opened on the lower and upper surfaces, the slot being located adjacent to the rear edge. The anchoring harness is routed through the slot and extends outward on the lower and upper surfaces. The anchoring harness includes a first and a second end, the first end having a fastener operable to attach with an external anchorage fixture, and the second end being positioned across the slot adjacent to the upper or lower surface, the second end being in obstructing contact against a region of the seat portion around the slot to retain the anchoring harness with the seat portion.</p> |
