<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb and dampen the vibration of a vibration generating part in an engine or the like so as to improve a riding quality. <P>SOLUTION: The antivibration device 10 includes: a first mounting part 11 in the shape of a tube, which is connected to either one of the vibration generating part and a vibration receiving part; a second mounting part 12 which is connected to the other one thereof; elastic bodies 13, 14 which connects the first mounting part 11 and the second mounting part 12; and partition walls which compartmentalize a pressure-receiving liquid compartment 22 filled with a liquid within the first mounting part 11 in a circumferential direction into a plurality of divided liquid chambers 37 with the elastic bodies 13, 14 as partial wall surfaces. A plurality of the divided liquid chambers 37 communicate with each other through a restriction passage 38, and in at least one of the second mounting part 12 and the partition walls, a shortcut passage 39 is formed through which a plurality of the divided liquid chambers 37 communicate with each other. A switching mechanism 42 is provided which switches between the communicating operation among a plurality of the divided liquid chambers 37 through the shortcut passage 39 and the blocking operation thereamong. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
