<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing charging machine that can positively conduct widthwise stretching of the body of a clothing and the like regardless of its size and can charge the clothing having no wrinkles into a device for a later process. <P>SOLUTION: A clothing charging machine according to claim 2 for charging a clothing which is half-dried after washing into a device for a later process comprises a conveyor mechanism that conveys the clothing to the device for the later process, and a shaping body that passes the clothing hung thereon in a ready figure state to the conveyor mechanism. The shaping body comprises a pair of right and left widthwise stretching plates that expand the body of the clothing rightward and leftward by stretching rightward and leftward, and an expanding mechanism that expands the widthwise stretching plates rightward and leftward. The expanding mechanism is composed of an air cylinder as a drive source and a link that converts an extension/contraction movement of the air cylinder into an expansion movement of the widthwise stretching plates.
