<p>The invention relates to a roller chain having pins (1), single-piece inner elements each comprising two bushing-shaped parts (2.1) spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the roller chain and extending in the transverse direction of the roller chain, and at least two tab-shaped parts (2.2) connecting the bushing-shaped parts (2.1) to one another and extending in the longitudinal direction of the roller chain, rollers (3), and outer tabs (4). On each bushing-shaped part, a roller (3) enclosing said bushing-shaped part (2.1) is rotatably supported. Each bushing-shaped part is arranged concentrically on a pin (1) protruding past both ends thereof, and two directly successive pins associated with two successive inner elements are connected to one another by at least two outer tabs, two successive inner elements thus being joined to one another with a hinge. At least a portion of the inner elements is made of a polymer having a fusion temperature of over 300°C and long reinforcing fibers embedded therein.</p> |
