In one example, a method includes receiving, at a computing device, a plurality of location identifiers corresponding to a plurality of locations at which a mobile computing device was previously located, defining, by the computing device, a plurality of geographic regions based at least in part on the plurality of location identifiers, wherein each of the plurality of geographic regions defines a physical area in which at least one of the plurality of locations is located, selecting, by the computing device, a subset of the plurality of geographic regions based on respective distances between a current location of the mobile computing device and a respective reference point within each of the geographic regions, and outputting, by the computing device and for display, an indication of the subset of the plurality of geographic regions.

A method comprising: receiving, at a computing device, a plurality of location identifiers, each location identifier of the plurality of location identifiers corresponding to a respective location of a plurality of locations; defining, by the computing device and based at least in part on the plurality of location identifiers, a plurality of geographic regions, wherein each geographic region of the plurality of geographic regions includes at least one respective location identifier of the plurality of location identifiers, and wherein each location of the plurality of locations is located within one or more respective geographic regions of the plurality of geographic regions; determining, by the computing device and based on respective distances between a current location of a mobile computing device and respective reference points within each respective geographic region of the plurality of geographic regions, a subset of the plurality of geographic regions, wherein the subset comprises a first set of one or more geographic regions and a second set of one or more geographic regions, wherein: each geographic region of the first set is smaller than each geographic region of the second set, andthe one or more geographic regions of the first set are included in the first set based on respective distances between the current location and first respective reference points of the geographic regions of the first set being smaller than respective distances between the current location and second respective reference points of the geographic regions of the second set; and outputting, by the computing device and for display, an indication of the subset of the plurality of geographic regions.
