1. A lateral field emission device comprising:
a substrate; electron emission materials arranged in a direction with respect to the substrate; a supporting portion disposed on the substrate, the supporting portion supporting the electron emission materials; a cathode disposed on the substrate, the cathode being electrically connected to the electron emission materials; and an anode disposed on the substrate, the anode being opposite to the cathode, wherein the anode includes a side face at which electrons from the electron emission materials collide and a front end portion of the electron emission materials is opposite to a central portion of the side face of the anode, and the supporting portion, the cathode and the anode are coplanarly disposed directly on the substrate. |
