<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline battery which is excellent in discharge characteristics and impact resistance.SOLUTION: An alkaline battery 1 is equipped with a gelatinous negative electrode (gelatinous negative electrode mixture 23) containing powder having an alkaline electrolyte, a gelatinizer and zinc as a main component. The powder is used containing a particle whose size is 75μm or less as the powder within a range of 25 to 40 mass%, and the gelatinizer is used containing water absorption resin in which the water absorbing magnification in the alkaline electrolyte is 37 times or more as the gelatinizer. The alkaline electrolyte is prepared to contain the water absorption resin within a range of 0.7 to 1.7 mass%. The gelatinous negative electrode contains zinc within the range of 65 to 70 mass%.</p> |
