<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the estimation accuracy of distance information near a boundary between a foreground region and a background region of an image.SOLUTION: An input part inputs image data obtained by photographing a subject, the subject and distance information of the background of the subject. A boundary information generation part generates boundary information between the foreground region and the background region of the image data. A correction region setting part sets a correction region for correcting the distance information on the basis of the boundary information. A transparency calculation part calculates the transparency of a pixel of the correction region. A distance information correction part corrects distance information corresponding to the pixel of the correction region on the basis of the transparency of the pixel of the correction region.</p> |
