The present invention relates to an AC arc welding device. The device includes a multi-protection device controlling a normal operation of a welding device by sensing a current generated in a secondary coil in accordance to the application of an AC power in a transformer, and preventing an overload of the transformer by determining an abnormality and malfunction of an electric shock preventer by blocking power applied to a primary coil in a standby state switched when the current is not sensed; and a remote current control device controlling a welding current, generated from the operation of the welding device by adjusting an operating core in accordance to the operation of a transformer operating motor without an extra switch device while a user stays away from the welding device. Therefore, the flow of the current is switched into a welding state by sensing a load of the secondary coil of the transformer, generated when welding is performed, and the power applied to the primary coil in accordance to the abnormal operation is blocked by sensing an abnormal supply power through the electric shock preventer; thereby preventing the malfunction of the electric shock preventer and safety accidents and fire caused by an overload.
