PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless terminal device in which power saving is achieved.SOLUTION: A wireless terminal has a first acquisition unit for acquiring the base station ID of a captured base station, and a second acquisition unit for acquiring the WLAN positional information indicating the current position of an own terminal, calculated based on the SSID of a captured access point. The wireless terminal has a third acquisition unit for acquiring the GPS positional information indicating the current position of the own terminal. The wireless terminal has a first control unit for acquiring the GPS positional information in the communication area of a captured base station, or the WLAN positional information in the communication area of a captured access point, during the learning period. The first control unit registers the WLAN positional information or GPS positional information in a position table, in association with the base station ID of a captured base station. The wireless terminal has a second control unit for acquiring the captured base station ID upon detection of a position request, and outputting the WLAN positional information or GPS positional information corresponding to the base station ID from the position table. |
